My Opinion:
One of the best ships without doubt. Very cheap for it's class. And the best fuel efficient ship there is.
Because of it's fine price new players can really work their way up to it. After a few hours of active playing it's yours. And it has a nice amount of cargo hold space.
Despite it's high speed it's not a very well ship for combat. The low amount of shields and the slow secondary weapon are the main drawbacks.

The Avenger

This ship boasts some of the most cutting-edge technology you're likely to find in the galaxy. The Avenger can literally hide in the shadows of deep space. Employing a six million-PPI photon repulsion matrix over its exterior hull, when cloaked, the Avenger appears as black as deep space. Cloaked ships can only be detected by Neutrino Scanners.

My Opinion:
Very suitable for light combat because of it's great special weapon. Nice for hunting NPC's. But in real heavy combat it will take a very heavy burden because of it's low amount of shields.
Also it's bad for cargo hauling, low max cargo...

It's really a shame you can't buy this great ship. It's terribly fast and with the Proximity Warp you'll even outrun the fastest of enemies.

My Opinion:
This should be the standard ship for starters. With it's nice speed and good cargo max it makes a great cheapest ship of StarPort. Also a nice fuel efficiency.
But don't use it for combat. The terrible special weapon and the low amount of shields max will scare nobody.

The Galaxy Whale

This amazing ship is built out of biologically engineered cells that can withstand the rigors of deep space. The Whale is a bit more practical for defense and maneuverability than the Dreamsower. It also has the ability to fiercely repel objects away from itself.

Yep, this is a great ship for hauling cargo. Good speed for it's class and a nice special weapon. Also cool fuel efficiency. So if you have to manage a lot of colonies this could be your ship. And a special weapon that actually does something good.

The Imperial Starcruiser represents the pinnacle of government-contracted technology. You can't find a better vehicle than this one in all the galaxy, but the United Nations only allows sale of it to captains they have commissioned. The Photon Torpedo will incinerate most anything in its path.

My Opinion:
This is probably a top 2 ship. Almost everything is perfect. Except for it's exuberant price. And you need to have a UN Commission. If you ever want to do combat at the highest level you'll need this ships Photon Torpedo for sure. And the immense amount of max shields is just absurd for the people who have to fight this thing. You'll have to go a long way, both exp. and money to be able to buy this baby.

My Opinion:
This is a special ship. If you ever invade a colony without solar cannon, use this ship. All because of those great Surface Missiles. Jummy. Settle yourself a long way from the turrets and start using your special weapon on those turrets. They will drop like flies. And the range of the missiles is far more than those of turrets. But because it's terrible, horrible speed and it's very low amount of shield max it sucks for combat. To finish, it has terrible fuel efficiency and extremely low max cargo holds. These combinations make this a very one-sided ship. Oh yea, it looks like an Xbox controller.

The Sethdar Cruiser

This state-of-the-art new ship is hard to find. Don't let its bulky appearance fool you, this puppy handles well and features the deadly EMP blast which can knock out the thrusters of enemy ships, rendering them defenseless, drifting ducks.

The Gigantic Colonial transport ship has incredible cargo capacity but is slow and has a limited shield maximum. The muon-quark pair explosive burst, commonly referred to as Flower Power, depletes the energy of enemy ships.
